15-Year-Old Boy Guilty of Stealing Father’s Radio Set

A 15-year- old boy on Monday June 11, pleaded guilty of accusation that he stole a radio set worth D900 from his father in May this year.

The boy, whose name is withheld, was arraigned at the magistrates’ court in Bundung.

Magistrate Forster was poised to hand down sentence after the accused accepted wrongdoing, but it was made known to the court that the boy was 15 years.

The court ordered the boy to make his birth certificate available, which was done and the case was eventually transferred to the juvenile court at the magistrates’ court in Kanifing.
