Abdoukarim ‘Pique’ Jaiteh, a Starlet to Watch

The outstanding performances of the young football starlets are undermined by The Gambia football association and its’ coached but I see this young starlet, Abdoukarim Jatta cum ‘Pigue’ as fitting football for The Gambia in the near future in monitored.
Abdoukarim Jaiteh 15 played for the Tallinding outfit Medina Football Club as a permanent figure in both the 2011 Serrekunda East Knock out and league Cup. The versatile player who plays at all positions within the back four of Medina helped his team win the FA cup against Ball Conge of Bundung.
Jaiteh, who is yet to represent his country at youth level, started playing the game of football in his earlier age while he was in school, before making it to the second division team of Tallinding that failed to impress the people of Tallinding in the Gambia second tier.
With the backing of his parents in playing football, Jaiteh made his way to regular football in Nawettan football in 2009 with Medina but could only manage to have a taste of glory in 2011 by winning the Serrekunda East knock out trophy.
The young talented defender went a trial at Al-Arabi Sports Club in Qatar but due to unknown circumstances he failed to make it but the team expressed confident that he will one day make it as he continues searching for greener pasture.
Speaking to this paper at his training ground, Jaiteh said he is aiming to be a professional player by representing his country.
“Playing in European top clubs is at the top of my agenda as a player, and I will make sure that my ambition is fulfilled,” he said.  
Abdoukarim Jaiteh, height 1.8, 68 weight is just 15 and said he is always encourage by his coach during training session, by tell him that “hey you can do it in  future.”  
 “I have confident in myself that I can do it in the field of play at any level, if the opportunity comes,” the young star noted.
