Another Gambia Journalist Sit in Cabinet

Reports reaching the Daily News indicate that Sheriff Bojang Snr is the Information minister of the Gambia. Until his appointment Bojang was the publisher and editor of the Standard newspaper.

Shreff started his journalism career at the Daily Observer under its founder Kenneth Best who was since deported to his war torn country of Liberia by the solider soon when they came to power. After the elections which brought the current president of Liberia to power he Best was appointed as presidential adviser.

Shreff is one of the very fine journalists and his newspaper was ban in 2012 and at the beginning of 2014 the ban was lifted.

The other journalists who occupied the cabinet post was Neneh Macdull Gaye and Nana Grey Johnson.
