The Daily News has confirmed that the outspoken Imam reunited with his bereaved family, who is yet to recover from the loss of the Imam’s eight-year-old adopted daughter killed by a falling block Wednesday, while he was in detention.
Ba-Kawsu was inaccessible at press time as a large crowd of followers, sympathizers and relatives turned up at his compound at SanchabaSulay Jobe.
The imam seems to be in a normal condition of health, family sources said.
It is not clear to this paper whether he was charged with any crime, though his arrest is highly linked to the war of words he had with the State House Imam, Alhagie Abdoulie Fatty.Peters Expresses Concern
