BAC Boss Hails Volunteers

The Chairman of the Brikama Area Council (BAC) Sunkary Badjie has lauded the members of the BADINYAA for their willingness and readiness to participate in the development of Brikama and the entire West Coast Region (WCR).
Chairman Badjie in a brief chat with The Daily News at the Council’s Chambers recently said the vision and the aspirations of the BADINYAA is a clear manifestation to all that these young volunteers are indeed ambassadors and agents of change. “The Council is very grateful to their efforts and we will continue to value their efforts in national development which all should be engage in.”
Mr. Badjie further stated that the initiative by the youths requires commendation since they are ready to raise funds for the Brikama Health Center which will in turn provide medicaments and other materials needed by the Health Center.
According to him, the BAC is very committed to working in partnership with the Organization as well as the executive in order to have a clear vision as well as to restore dignity and humanity in the people more so the young and women.
He also thanked the CEO and all for their gesture which will go a long way in complementing the efforts of the council and the government as a whole. Chairman Badjie appealed to the members to promote unity, peace and tolerance among themselves in order for more development and advancement to take place.
