The Gambian International Striker Dawda Bah have been sidelined for six weeks after suffering a Knee Injury during training on Wednesday, the club website confirmed. The news came at a dreadful time for the Gambian international who only made one appearance for his new Bundesliga club Augsburg against Bayern Leverkusen in which they lost 4-0. The Germany (AP)—Bundesliga club Augsburg released that their new signing Dawda Bah faces at least six months out with a knee injury. According to the club, The Gambian striker underwent surgery after “severe bone and soft tissue damage” to his left knee while training on Wednesday. Augsburg general manager Andreas Retting says “this is particularly bitter for Dawda, we imagined a different start for him at Augsburg.” Bah was signed from HJK Helsinki two days before the transfer window closed. The 27-year-old Bah made his Augsburg debut last weekend, when he played 13 minutes against Bayer Leverkusen.
