Ceesay Wins CA Jagne Draught Memorial Tourney

Mr Abdoulie Ceesay, a resident of Dobson Street in Banjul was crowned champion of CA Jagne Draught Memorial Tournament which began on Friday 23 march and ended on Sunday 25 at Manneh Sillah Memorial Basketball court in Banjul.
 The tournament, which was the sixth edition, was witnessed by the president of the Draught Association of The Gambia, Alagie Momodou Dibba, the family of the late CA Jagne and some of the executive members of The Gambia Draught Association.
Thirty-six participants entered into the race, and were grouped into five, in which twenty-two made it through to the second round of the competition.
The second position was won by Alagie Malick Loum of OJ Junction while Sheikh Njie of Dobson Street bagged third and Modou Kanteh alias Kafo of old NTC in Brikama emerged fourth.
The winner Abdoulie Ceesay was given a cash prize of 6,000 Dalasi and a trophy, while the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions received 4,000, 3,000 and 1,000 Dalasi respectively and the top four winners were certified. Consolation prizes were given to four other participants.
