The Gambia U-20 under the leadership of coach Lamin Sarr continued to maintain their good start in the ongoing Sierra Leone fitness tournament after earning four points in two games. The competition serves as a preparatory competition towards the upcoming African Youth Championship to be played in Libya 2011.
The baby Scorpions have already shown what they are capable of qualifying for the African Youth Championship, they won Ojoko FC of Nigeria by 3 - 2, through goals from Mamut Saine and Sarjo Samateh before registering a draw against the host Sierra Leone in a goalless draw.
