Friday, January 27, 2012
The Gambia Football Association first division league will continue tomorrow with Wallidan hoping for a bounce back in their week three showdown against Hawks at the Independence Stadium on Sunday.
Wallidan opened their 2012 GFA Premier League suffering two consecutive defeats against Young Africans and Serrekunda United respectively, and they need to raise their heads above the water on their Sunday clash with Hawks.
The rest of the fixtures will be as follows: Steve Biko will lock horns with neighbors Bakau United in a Bakau derby at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.
In the same fixtures on Saturday The Gambia Armed Forces FC are aiming to rectify their last week setback in the hands of Gamtel when they face Samger at the independence Stadium in Bakau, while Real de Banjul will continue their search for their first victory against GPA at the KG5 in Banjul after collecting only 1 point in their opening two games.
Meanwhile, on Sunday defending champions Brikama United will travel to Serrekunda East to play Serrekunda United at the Serrekunda East Mini stadium, while Gamtel will lock horns with the Young Africans at the Banjul KG5, Hawks will also play Wallidan on the same day at the Independence Stadium.
