Mr Mike Amelobe, the principal of International Business College said his institution has global standard including meeting the requirement of the National Training Authority.
Mr Mike was speaking recently on the occasion of his school’s 5th graduation ceremony held at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi. The school that was established in 2003.
He said the school is Gambian owned and is also an international college with both Gambians and non-Gambians serving at the institute, which works in partnership with the government.
The centre, he added, offers courses in many disciplines of relevance to one’s life and the nation, such as Banking and Finance, Business Management, and Tourism, with sound link and partnership with the institute’s London centre in the UK.

According to him, the school has teachers from different parts of the world, such as Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana and The Gambia.

He also urged the graduating students to make good use of the knowledge and qualification obtained from the institute, saying their graduating has opened a new beginning to their lives and a journey of success.
For his part, the executive secretary of the National Youth Council (NYC), Marcel Mendy, commended the graduants, saying: “To whom much is given much is expected.”
He also urged them not to rest on their laurels but to continue to further their education so that they would be of more benefit to their families and the nation.
