The former Randers and Brann Bergen midfielder Tigian Jaiteh has been ask to go home and continue shorting out his personal issues after been in the country for a week with out reporting to camp.
“Tijian Jaiteh has been sent home from camp since we believe that he is not ready to play the game,” assistant coach Peter Bonu Johnson has confirmed.
The news broke out on Monday that the former Randers and Brann Bergen midfielder has been sent home after he failed to report to camp on time.The Scorpions assistant coach confirmed to this paper that the former Gambia Ports Authority player arrived in the country since last week Monday but failed to report to camp on time.
The former Gambia Ports Authority and Sait Matty midfielder has not played for his country since a 3-1 African Cup of Nations defeat to Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou last year having suffered a lengthy spell on the sidelines towards the end of the last United States Soccer season and his international wilderness looks set to continue for another couple of months as the Gambia prepares for three international outings next month.
