Report reaching West Coast Radio from the U-20 officials yesterday stated that the San Jose’s striker Omar Jasseh Alias [waterman] has been omitted from the team due to injury.
According to officials Omar Jassey is been replaced by Mamadou Kaba Cham who plays his professional football in Belgium.
The news was no doubt became as a suck for the Gambian Fans in just three days before their beloved team will begin their campaign in the African youth Championship.
Though officials have described the omission of Omar Jasseh as injury but the player himself disagreed saying ‘’ If I was injured, my team won’t allow be to come represent my country.”
At the time of going to press, a reliable source revealed that the team [The Gambia U-20] was stranded in Dakar Senegal as the South African Embassy was yet to issue their Visas.
