After his team’s 1-0 defeat to US Ouakam, Brikama United Head coach Ensa Sambou in a post-match interview told reporters that he was disappointed with his team’s performance as he was expecting nothing but a home win.
 “I think my players did not take my instructions and it paid dividend but football is full of surprises Saturday was a bad day for us, but the unexpected is possible as we can win the second leg in Dakar come  March 2012,” Sambou said.
For Sambou the blame goes to himself and his players for not performing up to expectation but confessed that they (Brikama United) need to work very hard.  
“I accept the result in good faith because this is our first international match in the history of the club, so we expect it to be a tough game,” he said.    
Sambou said his players are young and need motivation, especially games like such.
