The scout council are expected to be back today after they kicked off their adventure five days bicycle riding trip to Farrafenni on Monday. The trip departing ceremony which was organized by the Scout Council was held at the Kanifing Municipal Council ground.In addressing the participants at the departing ceremony, the lord mayor of Kanifing municipal council Yankuba Colley said history is in the making again as KMC happened to be the first region to start this adventure bicycle riding trip to Farrafenni. He went on to say that he is very happy to see the youths in KMC prepared to represent their region.

Mayor Colley further went on to advice the team to be mindful and not be in haste so that their trip can be completed safely.Madam Kassa Kandeh Sanneh the president of the scout council said this was remembrance day for them as it was the first time that they started a bicycle riding trip in the history of scout in this country, adding that it is a step in a right direction.

Modou Mendy the supervisor of the trip said, "I am very much delighted with your advises and I will make sure that we will put it into good use, as you can see this young men that are standing in front of you here today they have all underwent a bicycle riding trip practice from Tippa garage to Sanyang. So this demonstrates that they are well prepared for this adventure."
