Sk East Karate Club Warm up for National Competition

The Serrekunda East karate club under the auspices of The Gambia National Karate Association is gearing up for a national karate competition slated on the 15th October 2011.
 Karate has been a form of unarmed fighting using blows and knocks   however; a less concentrated sporting discipline in The Gambia, in their quest to develop the game, The Gambia National Karate Association is organizing a national Karate competition for all the registered Karate clubs in The Gambia.
According to Malick Nyassi the master trainer of the Serrekunda East Karate club, the competition will go a long way in equipping boys in the Karate field.
 Nyassi however stressed the significance of organising such a Karate competition saying it is the only way forward to develop Karate in The Gambia.  
The twenty year old experience Karate man further applauded The Gambia National Karate Association for coming up with such initiative; he further urged them to keep up the momentum.   Nyassi called on the government of The Gambia and indeed the stakeholders to invest in karate.
 He later appealed to the National Sport Council to give maximum support to all the sporting disciplines in The Gambia. Nyassi however expressed optimism that his club will perform well in the upcoming competition.
 In conclusion, Master Nyassi called on the general public to rally behind the Serrekunda East Karate Club for the upcoming national karate club, which is to take place on the 15th October 2011 at the Bakau New Town karate Zale.
