Pipeline Q-Cell FC are finally the winners of the Serrekunda West Nawettan league after defeating one of the strongest teams of the tournament Tigers FC by 2 - 1 in the tremendous final on Sunday at the Serrekunda West playing ground.
Alpha Sidibeh opened the scores for Pipeline Q-Cell FC in the 35 minutes from a brilliant finishing after dribbling pass goalkeeper Sainey Saho, before a 52 minute equalizer from Lamin Konteh of Tigers FC through a penalty kick.
Ousainou Ogoo made it 2 - 1 for Pipeline Q-Cell FC from a powerful shot in the 59th minute of the game, which was the final and the winning goal of the match.
Pipeline finally went home with D25, 000.00 and a trophy as champions, while Tigers FC went home with D15, 000.00 as runners up. Mustapha Manneh emerged as the highest goal scorer with 5 goals received a prize of D500.
The most discipline team was Pipeline FC and the player of the tournament went to Alpha Sidibeh.
