Mariama Kunda F.C Crowned champions of the Mariama Kunda Nawettan final after defeating Jabang F.C by one goal to nil on Saturday encounter at the Mariama kunda football field.
Both teams started the game with an attractive style of football grabbing the attention of the spectators as both teams were hoping to be crown as champions of the 2010 nawettan.
But Mariama Kunda F.C appeared to be the favourite side in the early minute of the game after building good counter attacks and put more pressure on Jabang F.C’s defense, which earned them many goal scoring chances, which Salifu Camara capitalized to setup a chance for Alieu Gibba to score in the 16 minutes of the game.
Jabang Fans were not happy to see such an early goal, while their players were on a struggle to level the scores but Mariama Kunda defenders were solid enough to stop all chances and to finally go home with a trophy.
